Ginette Fournier

Author

Ginette Fournier was a high-school teacher for thirty-three years, and had always dreamed of writing for children. Drawing from her nostalgia for her childhood neighbourhood of Old St. Boniface, in Winnipeg, she has brought to life the magical world within. The Monica-Claire books are the result of a promise she once made to two friends—the parents of the real-life Monica-Claire—to one day write a story featuring their young daughter.
